"Return from the Spring" represents a clear break for me from the polished and refined porcelain surfaces of my early work. The raw archetypical figures portray the primitive essences of earth and water.
The need for nourishment is universal and timeless. It is a common thread of all mankind from Genesis to the eternity. "Return from the Spring" signifies the need for replenishment and portrays life not as a destination but as a means of travel.
