This series is about metamorphosis of the human spirit depicted in symbols of the cacoon to butterfly. The slides show:

(1) The first piece in the series, “Nourished Growth,” which depicts the nourishment of the spirit through the security provided by family and friends;
(2) The second piece, "Bound Growth," which depicts growth through life’s many difficulties;
(3) The third piece, “Growth through Flight,” which depicts how one grows through imagination, education and travel; and
(4) A detail of the top of “Growth through Flight.”
